The beautiful Birds Of A Feather Shawl by Andrea Mowry is an asymmetrical shawl that is a perfect wrap for cooler months. The shawl is knit using two different weight yarns, a fingering weight and a mohair silk lace. The finished effect is a light and airy yet super warm shawl. We've put kits together using our Uptown Sock and Mohair Silk Lace. Each kit will contain two skeins of Uptown Sock and one skein of Mohair Silk Lace dyed in the same colourway. We've chosen our lightly speckled colours as they dye up beautifully yet differently on both bases. This will add some lovely interest to the shawl.
